Here's a fun way to practice number recognition. I wrote down numbers on pieces of notecards. 
Then I stuck the numbers into Easter eggs.
After they were all shut I gave them to Treyton to open. He opened them and told me the numbers....of the ones he knew. I helped him with the unknowns and hopefully taught him a few. We played this simple game for quite a while. 
Until Daisy distracted us again. I wonder if I could get a tu-tu on her?
